Privacy notice and PDPA
This notice covers what happens to the details you type into the enquiry form on this site. It is written to the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

Who is responsible
Chiang Dao Land is the data controller for enquiries sent through this site. Until the Thai operating company is registered, the controller is the founder personally. You can reach us at the email address below for anything in this notice.
What we collect
Only what you type: your name, the one contact detail you give us (email, LINE or WhatsApp), your message, the plot you were looking at, and the language of the page. Our server also records a shortened form of your IP address (for example 203.0.113.x) for a few minutes, to stop the form being flooded. We do not ask for, and do not want, your ID card number, passport, bank details or any sensitive personal data.
Why we may use it
To reply to your enquiry and to arrange a viewing. That is the only purpose. The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the necessity of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for 24 months and then deleted, unless the enquiry led to a transaction, in which case the file is kept for as long as Thai law requires records of the transaction to be kept.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to the email address below and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand.
